- or 曼阤羅; 漫陀羅 (sa) mandāra(va), the coral-tree; the (la) erythrina indica, or this tree regarded as one of the five trees of Paradise, i.e, Indra's heaven; a white variety of (la) Calotropis gigantea. Name of a noted monk, and of one called Mandra.
